ABSTRACT
Nepal offers a wide range of meteorological and geographical conditions. As a result, it has a high floral richness, with over 6500 flowering plants and ferns, 2000 of which are regularly employed in traditional. Nepal is ranked 9th in terms of floral diversity. People mostly use medicinal plants and other natural products for their chemical and pharmacological properties. Medicinal plants played an essential part in agronomy and pharmacy throughout the 18th and 19th centuries since they provided raw materials for the pharmaceutical industry and were used as a medicine on a daily basis.
